I signed up but I didn’t receive my signup email?
Sometimes signup emails are incorrectly marked as spam by some “free” email providers such as Yahoo and Gmail. So try and check your “Spam” folder to see if your signup email inadvertently ended up marked as spam, then make sure to unmark it as spam and move it to your inbox. If this doesn’t work for you, just contact us using the contact form and we can setup your username and password for you and we’ll investigate why the signup process didn’t work for you.
How do I unsubscribe myself from the emails?
It’s easy! Just log in to the site using your username and password, then click on the My Profile link in the user menu (it’s right beside Logout). Then go to the Subscriptions tab and click on Content Types. Unclick “Story” and you’re done! If you are subscribed to any other content-types, just click on their respective tabs (i.e. threads, blogs, categories, etc) and uncheck the ones you don’t want to be subscribed to (although new members are only subscribed to Stories by default, so you can keep up on the newest free professionally written article content on MFT)
How do I change my profile username?
For now, please just let us know what you would like to change it to using the contact form, and we will change it for you.
How do I add my profile picture (user photo)?
Just log in to your account and click on the “My Profile” and then click on the “Upload your user photo” link. You can choose a gif, jpeg or png image.
